High standards and outstanding customer service reflect the strong business values held by Classic Transport’s founder, Bill Garvey. When he started the company in 1993, Bill surrounded himself with competent people – people he trusted to do their jobs responsibly.
A staff of seasoned professionals grew quickly to more than 15 employees and 600 owner/operators. Today, everyone at Classic Transport maintains a “can do” attitude and a willingness to accept challenges or risks while maintaining a persistent focus on customer service.
In 2002, Bill received the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year® award. The award recognized Garvey’s non-traditional approach that allowed his company to become a leader in the transport service industry. His beliefs in a team concept and employee empowerment continue to serve as the foundation for Classic Transport.
